Funko Reveals New Line Of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Pop! Figures
By Elaine Tveit
Funko has revealed a line of Star Wars Pop! figures inspired by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The 17 new figures will be available later this fall.
Funko’s Pop! figurines, with their huge heads and round black eyes, are all the rage these days. In the past, characters from all three Star Wars trilogies have been transformed into Pops!. Now, it’s the cast of Rogue One‘s turn, as Funko’s latest Star Wars Pop! line includes 17 figures inspired by the characters from the upcoming standalone film (via Smuggler’s Bounty).
Some of the figures are variations of the same character. For example, there are three versions of Jyn Erso, two of them available exclusively at certain outlets. For those who love Star Wars and Funko, however, exclusivity will in no way be a deterrent to collecting all the Rogue One Pops! they can get their hands on.
Without further ado, see the new figures and find out where you can purchase them below.
First, there’s the Jyn Erso Pop! figures.

The second Jyn Pop! figure in which she is wearing a headscarf, and the third figure featuring Jyn in her Imperial uniform will be available exclusively at Hot Topic and Target, respectively.
Next up is Captain Cassian Andor of the Rebel Alliance.

The second Pop! figure of Cassian that’s wearing a jacket instead of a coat will be available only at Target.
Next is an amazing figure of K-2SO, a former Imperial enforcer droid and Cassian’s best friend.

Below is Chirrut Imwe in Pop! form, complete with cloudy blue eyes which indicate his lack of sight in the movie.

Next comes the big gun: Baze Malgus, Chirrut’s rough and tumble friend and protector.

Saw Gerrera, a mercenary leader in the Rebellion against the Empire, would probably resent being called “cute.” But “cute” is the best word to describe his Pop! figure.

Now we get into the villains. Director Orson Krennic’s Pop! figure, caped and everything, is up first.

Next are two variations of the sandtroopers stationed on Scarif, where the Death Star is being constructed in the film.

The sandtrooper with the blue stripe on his breastplate will be a Walgreens Pharmacy exclusive figure.
Next, we have Krennic’s personal bodyguards: the deathtroopers.

The deathtrooper figure sporting reflective armor will be available only at Wal-Mart.
The Imperial astromech droid revealed on The Star Wars Show this week will also be getting a Funko Pop! figure.

Finally, Funko is releasing two variant figures of Darth Vader. The second figure, shown below, features Vader holding out his hand, like he is choking someone with the Force. You will only be able to buy this variant at Target.

I’m happy some of the minor characters and not just the main heroes and villains are getting Funko Pop! figures. There are so many cool-looking characters, like K-2SO and the deathtroopers, that it would be a crime to not show them off as products fans can collect and display.
