The final Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer will be attached to Doctor Strange on November 4th
If you were hoping to get a new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story anytime soon, then you’ll be waiting until November 4, as the final trailer for the film will play in front of Marvel’s Doctor Strange…
Straight off a tweet from Twitter handle TrailerTrack, we have an alert that the final trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will play in front of Marvel’s Doctor Strange, on November 4.
The account then later goes on to posit that the trailer may be released in late October — when the final marketing push for Doctor Strange begins — perhaps during a Monday Night Football game on ESPN, much like Disney/Lucasfilm did with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
This information came from Russian website Kinometro, where the coverage of the Kino Cinema Expo was reported:
"[Rogue One: A Star Wars Story] is scheduled for December 15, but, as is the case with the seventh episode, the franchise keeps secret until the very end. The final trailer will be attached to Doctor Strange ."
As you can see, the site refers to the seventh episode in the Star Wars franchise, meaning The Force Awakens, and this is why Trailer Track posits that Disney/Lucasfilm may release the final using the same strategy as last year.
