Everything You Need to Know About Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Gareth Edwards has constantly said that Rogue One isn’t about the Jedi vs the Sith or the Light side of the Force vs the Dark. However, in a recent interview with a Frech television show, Edwards was asked a series of rapid-fire questions. Here’s the one that concerns the Jedi:

"Q: Will there be Jedi? A: Technically yes."

Now, this can be interpreted in a few ways, but most simply put, in the second full trailer, a fallen Jedi statue was seen on the planet Jedha. This could be what Edwards meant when he answered, “Technically yes.”

Could there be a Jedi or two in Rogue One? Could we see Obi-Wan Kenobi make a surprise appearance? I seriously doubt it. Will there be some sort of Star Wars Rebels tie-in to Rogue One with Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus? It’s possible but highly unlikely…but it would be very cool!
