The character of Mon Mothma is back in the Star Wars Cinematic Universe once again, and if you’re doing a double take at the actress playing the character, don’t worry, you should be. That’s because that’s Genevieve O’Reilly, the actress who played Mon Mothma in Revenge of the Sith…before George Lucas cut her scenes from the original theatrical film, and she was relegated to deleted scenes and collectors editions of the film. Well, guess what, O’Reilly isn’t getting cut now, because she’s the full on leader of the Rebellion, in Rogue One.
