47. Breha Organa

Okay, so he’s only a trophy husband if you find Senator Bail Organa attractive (which I do). But the fact remains that Breha Organa is the queen of Alderaan while Bail is only Alderaan’s senator. Breha only appeared in one scene in the entire Star Wars saga. In it, she receives Bail as he brings her the daughter of Padme and Anakin Skywalker. The couple adopts Leia and raises her to be the princess we know and love in the original trilogy.
But Breha is amazing for more than just being a queen and Leia’s adoptive mother. In the canon Princess Leia mini comic series, published in 2015, it was revealed that Breha personally mentored young women who went on to become rebels. One of these pilots is named Evaan Verlaine. She recalls the queen, who perished with her planet by the Death Star’s superlaser, fondly and with respect.
Our only wish is to know more about this strong leader who took the time to be a loving mother and wife. That’s why she ranks as number 47 on our list.
