Adi Gallia had no lines in The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones. She does, however, appear several times in The Clone Wars television show. In the series, she often helps Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in their missions. According to the Star Wars Databank, Adi “would remark upon the more outrageous tactics carried out by Anakin Skywalker or Obi-Wan Kenobi in the course of the war, but would rarely condemn their effective actions.”

Perhaps Adi didn’t condemn Anakin and Obi-Wan because she was radical herself. The Star Wars Databank describes her as “an aggressive warrior who had no problem bringing the fight to the enemy.” A female character is not often portrayed as physically aggressive as well as a wise hero. These qualities made her the perfect choice to accompany Obi-Wan in his mission to confront Darth Maul and his brother Savage Oppress. As befitting a great warrior, Adi died in battle.

Adi represents the strength and the wisdom of the Jedi Order in their prime, and for that reason, she made this list.
