#7. Mace Windu

Mace Windu was a lot of things: Jedi Master, sat on the Jedi High Council, Jedi General, and the only Jedi in the prequels who didn’t like Anakin ( just kidding). Windu was the kind of Jedi that could enter a room, and make his presence known without saying a word. He was revered. Windu is, seemingly, the only one to go toe-to-toe with Darth Sidious for a long period of time. One must wonder if Windu would’ve taken down Sidious if it wasn’t for Anakin’s betrayal.

Mace Windu didn’t mince words, he was upfront and honest. He had little patience for political corruption and any Jedi who didn’t want to follow the Jedi Code. He was all about “doing by the book.” Although he seemed grim, and emotionless most of the time, Mace Windu was passionate about protecting innocent people:

“Isn’t protecting the innocent the very definition of what it means to be a Jedi? We are failing the Republic and its citizens. We must stop this-now.”
