Daisy Ridley Hilariously Dodges The Last Jedi Questions From Josh Gad

Josh Gad, who stars alongside Daisy Ridley in the remake of Murder on the Orient Express, hilariously accosted the actress with The Last Jedi questions.
Everyone wants to know more about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, even celebrities working on separate projects.
Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, is filming a remake of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. One of her co-stars, Josh Gad (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast) is obviously a huge Star Wars fan because he couldn’t help but ask Ridley about Episode VIII‘s recently revealed title, The Last Jedi.
Watch the hilarious Instagram video of Gad asking Ridley about The Last Jedi below.
Gad greets Ridley in a trailer with the camera on his phone running. He proceeds to ask her about the day’s scene on the train. But it’s all a lead-in to the big questions.
"Gad: “It’s about today’s scene. Who are the last Jedi?”Ridley: “We’re not doing this, Josh.”Gad: “Is it one, or is it more than one?”Ridley: “I can’t ask you about Frozen 2.”Gad: “Is it more than one Jedi? Is it ominous? It sounds ominous.”"
Ridley plays it cool, of course. She’s had plenty of experience, what with the secrecy surrounding The Force Awakens and now The Last Jedi. We didn’t expect to get any answers from her. But it speaks to the power of Episode VIII‘s title that fans like us and Gad are bucking for answers. Who is the last Jedi? Is “Jedi” plural or singular? Does Rey become a Jedi?
Like Gad, we wish Ridley would just answer Gad’s “damn question.” But then, speculation and waiting is part of the fun with Star Wars movies. And they produce funny videos like the one above.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters on December 15th, 2017.
