Vans is as iconic in the shoe world as Star Wars is in the film world. Fans of the shoe company and fans of the film franchise have many similarities. Which is why seems like it was only a matter of time before the two joined forces. They did back in fall 2014 and the result was pretty awesome. They made a range of designs that weren’t only true to Star Wars, it stayed true to the classic designs and styles Vans is known for as well. Classic slip on’s modeled after Darth Vader with the classic line “It’s pointless to resist” on one shoe and the line “Come to the Dark Side” on the other, is a personal favorite. But the Bandana looking design with stormtrooper helmets is also a great looking design. The company also made matching hats and backpacks for some of the various designs. They have been sold out for a while now, but im willing to bet that we haven’t seen the last of the collaboration between Vans and Star Wars.
