I struggle to understand how these sweaters were inspired by Star Wars. The Knights of Ren cardigan just looks like an average everyday cardigan. The Rey inspired counterpart for women looks like an oversized ace bandage. The newer line of jackets are designed after rebel Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso’s clothing in Rogue One. My main problem with the Mashable Star Wars collaboration? It really doesn’t come off as Star Wars clothing when looking at it. Sure once you take the Cassian jacket off the lining inside has the Rebellion logo. But no one can see it if you’re actually wearing it. The Rey cardigan doesn’t even have that to distinguish itself. Not to mention the jackets are on the pricier side, coming in at about $180 a piece.
