Since the Han-Solo standalone film started production roughly a month ago, buzz surrounding the film has increased with each passing day. As long as Star Wars brings in huge numbers at the box office, and merchandise keeps flying off shelves, we can look forward to a ton of new films.

As it pertains to Star Wars films, Lucasfilm does not seem to be slowing down, with some movies diving deep into how characters got to where they are. Whether they appear in films, books, tv shows, or comics, every character has a different background with unique backstories, and the majority of them have their own fans. Yoda, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Jabba The Hutt, they all have their own, rather large following. With that in mind, we take a look at 25 Star Wars character who need their own standalone film

25. Jar Jar Binks

Now hear me out, I know this sounds CRAZY! A whole film of the terrible character that was clearly there to appeal to kids and be comic relief. Well nobody ever liked him, his jokes weren’t ever funny and kids never took to him. But maybe someone could make him funny. He did something to make the Gungans completely banish him from their underground society.

What did he do?

Whatever it was, it had to be something ridiculously idiotic and flat out insane. Maybe if many, many years down the road we revisit that event and make it something that actually WILL make crowds laugh. There are obviously tons of other characters I would rather see a film about. Jar Jar Binks had a major role in The Phantom Menace, and Attack of the Clones, a fact we cannot change. The Gungan army did play a major role in saving Naboo, so who knows, maybe they could even make his accent less annoying somehow.
