24. Count Dooku

Or just Dooku, as he was known when he was still a Jedi Master. Attaining the rank of Master by being a padawan to Yoda himself, after becoming a Jedi Master, he took Qui-Gon Jinn as a padawan. During the years of The Republic, he left the Jedi Order after becoming unhappy with the rampant corruption in the government.

Shortly after leaving he became a student of Darth Sidious, the Sith Lord and eventual Emperor of the Empire. His lust for power moved him to rally systems and planets to become part of his separatist movement. It was during this time that he started to build his army of clones he was to use in the eventual war with the republic. It was this very same army that would eventually become Stormtroopers.

The unique background of Count Dooku would make for an interesting story. Imagine someone who was trained under both Yoda and the Emperor. Or seeing the ins and outs of the deal that would eventually lead to Stormtroopers. It’s intriguing enough for consideration in the not so near future. There are so many other characters, that would get the standalone treatment before Dooku would.
