5. Mon Mothma
It’s rather crazy when you think about it, but Mon Mothma was the leader of the Rebel Alliance. We only get to see her once, and only very briefly, right before the Rebellion is dispatched to Endor with the hopes of destroying the new Death Star. Which was under construction next to the Forest Moon.
We see her character again in Rogue One which is an awesome treat, but the movie still didn’t provide anything in the way of details about where she came from or how she became the Rebellion leader. I know that as well as being a leader of the Rebellion, she was one of the founders of the Alliance as well.
