22. Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes
The band that was playing in the Cantina, when Luke and Obi-Wan meet Han Solo. Imagine the possibilities of their own spinoff film. Maybe they got their big break shortly after the cantina? Hey for all we know they could have already been huge in the galaxy far, far away.
Were they avid partiers who lived lives in excess, similar to how we look at rock stars here and now, or were they more mellow, and modest musicians? Maybe they never actually hit it big, or it was just the frontman who got notoriety, leaving the rest of the band in the dust. I think the idea has tons of potential, even though it’s based on characters that we only get to see for a very small amount of time.
