During today’s Star Wars Celebration Animated Origins Panel, Dave Filoni, the mind behind The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, promised fans will know the fate of Ahsoka Tano in Rebels season 4….
If you’re a fan of Ahsoka Tano, we’ve got some great news for you, as Dave Filoni (executive producer of Rebels) and Pablo Hidalgo (Lucasfilm Story Group gatekeeper) promised fans during the Star Wars Celebration Animated Panel, that we will finally know what happened to Ahsoka, after the end of Star Wars Rebels season 2, in the aftermath of her battle with Darth Vader.
As you may remember, in the season 2 finale of Star Wars Rebels, Ezra, Kanan, and Ahsoka went to the planet of Malachor to seek a weapon to defeat the Sith. Once there, Ezra found Maul, and the others ran into an Inquisitor.
After fighting their way to the top of the Sith temple, and after a betrayal from Maul, Ahsoka engaged Darth Vader, who she knew to be her former Jedi Master, Anakin Skywalker. The fight was quick and brutal, and Ahsoka damaged Vader’s mask, revealing half his face….a face she recognized.
As the Sith temple began to descend on Vader and Ahsoka, Ezra tried to help her, but she Force-pushed him to safety. The last image we saw of Ahsoka Tano, was her walking down the steps, back into the Sith temple.
But was that Ahsoka’s Force Ghost? Or, is she still alive? Does Ahsoka live? Dave Filoni promised the audience at the animation panel, and answer to this question when he presents a sneak peek at Star Wars Rebels season 4 on April 15, 2017, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, live-streamed on Starwars.com
