The Last Jedi teaser vs The Force Awakens teaser is exactly the same!

In a surprising twist, the very first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi lined up with the very first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens produces an eerily exact match….

Amazing how the two line up, right? Obviously, Finn has been swapped for Rey, and Jakku’s desert landscape has been replaced by Ahch-to’s seas, but other than that, they are nearly identical. I love how Rian Johnson placed Leia watch the galactic map in the spot of Kylo Ren overlooking Starkiller base’s laser beam…a nice touch, that.
