Flaunt Hoth Han Solo or the Empire with Bioworld’s new backpacks, bags and wallets

Flaunt The Empire Strikes Back style of your favorite smuggler, Han Solo, or of the Hoth Imperial forces with Bioworld’s new Star Wars carry-on line.

Up your Star Wars style game with Bioworld’s upcoming collection of backpacks, bags and wallets.

The licensed merchandise company’s new collection is inspired by the Hoth costumes of Han Solo and the snowtroopers in The Empire Strikes Back. The Han Solo products feature the Rebel Alliance insignia and the blue color of Han’s snow jacket. The Imperial items couldn’t look more different, color-wise; they are white and black with red Imperial symbols that stamp them as the gear of the dark side fan.

The Han Solo and Imperial sets each contain an array of carry-on luggage items, including a backpack, a travel bag and two different wallet styles. A purse rounds out the Han Solo set, and both sets come with extra accessories like luggage tags, keychains and hats.

As big a fan I am of the light side of the Star Wars universe, I must admit that the Imperial set is eye-catching. The stark contrast between the white and the red colors and the geometric patterns make for a sleek, modern design. But the Han Solo set is just as pretty. Mostly, I’m happy to see Bioworld stepping out of the box and away from more stereotypical Star Wars designs, like Rebel Alliance flight suits and Boba Fett’s armor.

The Hoth collection is scheduled to launch at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2017.
