The character of Rey has finally been added to Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away at Disney’s Hollywood Studios…

When the character of Rey (Daisy Ridley) first appeared on screen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, she became an instant fan-favorite. The tough, strong, and more than capable new character has been an inspiration to a whole new generation of female Star Wars fans, as she took down The Force Awakens‘ main antagonist, Kylo Ren, with absolutely no training in the ways of the Force.

That was in December of 2015, and yet, as fans of the franchise constantly pointed out, Rey had yet been added to Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away live show. Well, as Disney Parks Blog notes, that has all been changed.

"“Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” celebrates our love of all things Star Wars with unforgettable memories from the entire galactic saga. Now, Rey has officially joined the lineup, appearing on stage alongside lovable Resistance droid BB-8 and clenching a lightsaber in her outstretched arm, just as she did at the conclusion of Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

The show — which is live several times a day on the park’s center stage — presents several “iconic moments” from the Star Wars saga, along with brief film clips of each moment, and includes many Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, R2-D2 and C-3PO, Boba Fett, and Darth Maul.

According to the blog, some “thrilling moments” from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story have been added to the nighttime show — Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.
