Summer in a Galaxy Far, Far Away is starting to heat up. The dark-side of the Force has never been cooler, however; with the continuation of the newest Darth Vader and Darth Maul comics. While the Poe Dameron comic continues to lead up the events of The Force Awakens.

Dave Filoni surprised fans with a deleted scene from Rebels featuring Ahsoka Tano and Bendu.

He’s also given upeeke name of our favorite former Imperial agent (Alexsandr) Kallus. The Forces of Destiny animated shorts have kicked off with it’s first eight, of 16, episodes.

Now we have our first exclusive preview for the upcoming “Star Wars Adventures” comic series, from IDW Publishing. The Star Wars website calls the series  “a saga-spanning all-ages” and describes the comic as “delightful and the stories are genuinely surprising.”

Starwars.com, in it’s newest release, has given us many more details on this new series.

With a 2-D comic style ( similar to the 2003 Clone Wars Micro-series & the Forces of Destiny animated shorts), we will get thrilling adventures from some of our favorite Star Wars heroes and villains!

These adventures will also feature some of our favorite Star Wars authors and writers.

Issue #1 will feature our sweet-heart from The Force Awakens, Rey. Pick up Star Wars Adventures #1  in stores (and digitally) on September 6, 2017.
