The Last Jedi image brings Finn and Rose together with Rey

An all-new promotional image from Lucasfilm for Star Wars: The Last Jedi reunites Rey and Finn along with Rose…

The last time Rey and Finn were together, Rey was saying goodbye to her friend as he slept in a coma, healing from wounds delivered by Kylo Ren and his lightsaber at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi featuring storylines spread across the galaxy, many fans were worried the two wouldn’t be reunited in the film. Well, thanks to an all-new image released by Lucasfilm, we know they will see each other once again, and Rose will be there too.

As you can see, the photo features Rey (Daisy Ridley) in the forefront — a new hair style and dark gray tunic — with Finn (John Boyega) on the left and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) on the right.

The trio is featured on the new planet that will be introduced in The Last Jedi — Crait. Crait is a mineral rich planet that has its red surfaced covered in white salt flats. The Rebel Alliance once had a base there, during the war with the Galactic Empire, and now the Resistance has taken over that outpost.

In the film, Crait will be the site of a major battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set directly after the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will see Rey begin her training in the ways of the Force with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the First Order will attempt to regain a footing in the war with the Resistance, as General Leia (Carrie Fisher) looks for powerful allies. The Last Jedi is directed by Rian Johnson and will hit theaters on December 15.
