36. Hondo Ohnaka returns

Episode: Season 2 Episode 6: Brothers of the Broken Horn

The Moment: Ezra receives a random distress call from a vessel called the Broken Horn, which is owned by a shady character in Vizago. The ship is currently manned from non-other than the famous space pirate Hondo Ohnaka.

Hondo apparently had stolen the ship and has Vizago locked away. Vizago, with the help of partner Azmorigan and his droids, is able to escape.

After a small battle within the ship, Hondo is able to help Ezra escape with the prized goods he was after( some generators).

Why It’s Memorable: Hondo! The famous pirate from The Clone Wars era is back. In the past Hondo was able to get the best of Jedi Knights, the Sith Lord Count Dooku, and even Maul.

When we meet an aged Hondo, who apparently has lost all of his fortune, planet, and men to the Empire; we don’t know whether to trust him or not. Hondo is not as menacing as he once was and is more used for slapstick humor in Rebels, but the wildcard nature of this old pirate still makes for fun moments!
