36. Aurra Sing attempts to assassinate Senator Amidala

Episode:  Season 3 Episode 7: Assassin

"Episode Summary: Tasked to protect Senator Padmé Amidala during a political mission to Alderaan, Padawan Ahsoka Tano is plagued by recurring visions of recently-deceased bounty hunter, Aurra Sing. Unable to clear her mind, Ahsoka worries that the stress of conflict is finally getting to her until her visions indeed prove prophetic. Padmé narrowly avoids death when Aurra Sing attempts to assassinate her. Together, Padmé and Ahsoka trap the hunter, and Ahsoka discovers the true villain behind the plot to kill Padmé: the incarcerated gangster, Ziro the Hutt."

The Moment: Ahoska and Padme both show their strength when a diplomatic mission on Alderaan goes wrong and end up preventing the Senator from an assassination attempt( that sounds familiar) by Aurra Sing.

Why It’s Memorable: More lore of how the Force works, with Ahsoka having visions, like her Master Anakin before( and after) her. Always in motion is the future and Ahoska also has to use her brain to prevent Aurra from killing the Senator from Naboo. We also see this Force vision style (or ones close to it) with Anakin, Ezra from Rebels, Luke in The Empire Strikes Back,  and the scavenger Rey in The Force Awakens.

This moment also displays that Aurra is one legit bounty hunter, with the ability to infiltrate top-notch security.

Did you know she also made her debut in The Phantom Menace, just like Quinlan Vos?

Also, Padmé going to Alderaan was not lost on me. The fact that Leia, her future daughter, grows up in this very world after her own death just is so sad. I also imagine what the dynamic of having a happy Anakin, Padmé, Luke, and Leia under one roof would have been like. Just imagine how powerful Luke (and even Leia) would have been under the Jedi instruction of the Chosen One and also the wonderful Padmé
