15. Maul sets his plans in motion seeking revenge against Kenobi and Sidious

Episode:  Season 4 Episode 22: Revenge

"Episode Summary: Savage and Maul, now reunited, pursue Obi-Wan Kenobi in search of revenge, and the Jedi Knight finds himself forced to unite with a surprising ally to defend against the deadly siblings."

The Moment: Asajj and Obi-Wan, former foes, team up against Maul and Savage, where they escape the Dark Side pair.

Why It’s Memorable:  I was almost as surprised at that pairing of Asajj and Obi-Wan as I was when Maul appeared alive in the episodes just prior to it. This also hints at the things to come when Ventress joins forces with the Jedi Order to seek out revenge against her former Master, Dooku.

When Maul appears in the flames and reveals himself to Obi-Wan, I got chills. Maul’s hatred for Obi-Wan is shown here and the same fuel that kept him alive after he was humbled by the Jedi on Naboo 10 years before.

I also enjoyed the moment with the usual flirty banter of Kenobi and Ventress, as well as when Obi-Wan had to use one of her red lightsabers, which he sarcastically remarked wasn’t his color. Kenobi escapes the clutches of Maul, for the time being, but the former Sith will exact his revenge at a later date, which we will see later on.
