1. Ahsoka walks away from the Jedi Order

Episode:  Season 5 Episodes 18-20: The Jedi Who Knew Too Much, To Catch a JediThe Wrong Jedi

"Episode Summary: As the Republic military takes over the Temple bombing case, Ahsoka finds herself at odds with Admiral Tarkin. The fugitive Ahsoka escapes to the criminal depths of Coruscant. On trial for murder, Ahsoka faces her greatest challenge."

The Moment: Feeling betrayed, Ahsoka makes the brave and heart wrenching decision to leave the Jedi Order. Tarkin’s persistence and the Jedi’s lack of trust lead the aspiring Jedi Knight to make this difficult and gut-wrenching decision, which has dire and dark consequences, ultimately, for the galaxy.

Why it’s Memorable: The relationship between Ahsoka and Anakin is undeniably one of the best things about The Clone Wars series. The depth of their relationship makes this moment even more potent and moving. It also gives us further insight into Anakin’s character (specifically his anger with the Order).

As a fan, it is also heartening to see that in the face of hurt and betrayal she (unlike Anakin) chooses to leave the Jedi order instead of becoming embittered and falling to the Dark Side. This moment in her journey truly showcases the strength and dignity that makes her one of the most beloved characters in the Clone Wars series (and arguably the entire Star Wars Universe).

"COURAGE BEGINS BY TRUSTING ONESELF NEVER BECOME DESPERATE ENOUGH TO TRUST THE UNTRUSTWORTHY NEVER GIVE UP HOPE, NO MATTER HOW DARK THINGS SEEM"
