Tonight, Monday, October 9, the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will drop and we know exactly when…

The Monday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears is going to have a little something extra for Star Wars fans, as the full cinematic trailer for the film will air at some point during the game.

But when exactly? Well, thanks to ESPN on Instagram, we know when. Check it out:

There you have it, the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will drop at halftime. This isn’t something new, either. Since Disney owns both ESPN and Lucasfilm, it makes perfect sense to combine to two to get the trailer out to a much larger audience.

However, those Star Wars fans who have no desire to watch football in the first place, only have to wait until halftime to see the trailer. Of course, by then, Lucasfilm usually releases the trailer on YouTube and its other social media platforms.

Fans should also expect advance ticket sales to go live then, as well. We’re not sure if the theater chains have a directive from Disney to wait until the game is over, hoping to capitalize on the viewer ratings of the game, or if sales will begin immediately following the trailer’s release.

However, thanks to Redditor by DarthPlagueis_, we do know AMC plans on ticket sales to start after the trailer is launched.

It does appear as if Star Wars fans should have their credit cards handy, as soon as halftime begins during tonight’s Monday Night Football game. Good luck, and let’s all hope the theater’s website doesn’t crash.
