Star Wars directors Ron Howard and Rian Johnson reveal intriguing details for their respective films in a galaxy far, far away…

Star Wars fans of the new generation have been spoiled with having exclusive access to the cast and crew of a galaxy far, far away. Social media is a place where “virtually” any question can be asked at any time, while the same rings true for the cast and crew revealing new details in the promotion of their upcoming films.

Ron Howard has been a huge ambassador of this, by giving fans glimpses here and there about his upcoming film project, the (still) un-titled Han Solo film. The latest one is quite the doozy, which leaves us with more questions than answers.

You’ll be relived to hear that I have no idea what that is, but I’ll take my best shot. It could be an assortment of ferrofluid (a liquid that becomes magnetized while in the presence of a magnetic field). Our biggest clue is in what Ron Howard puts in the caption itself:

"Secrets to uncover & challenges to face for a young Han Solo."

Hearing that is very comforting knowing that we are going to venture deep into the heart of Han Solo, where his character will be heavily tested in the process. This emotional vibe is a lot more appealing than the slap-stick humor tone of the (previous) directors of the film Lord and Miller.

Moving on, another fan tweeted director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi — Rian Johnson — seeking answers to who the last Jedi was. Sometimes, those questions will be answered…although, they may not always be the answers fans are seeking. This time is the opposite, however, where Johnson gave us a flat-out, honest answer in just two short words:

This isn’t that earth-shattering of a reveal since it’s been clear from the beginning that the last Jedi is in fact Luke Skywalker. Just read the opening crawl for The Force Awakens and the answer is there in spades:

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, while the Han Solo film is projected for a May 2018 release, where we hope in the meantime that both directors keep up their playful interaction on social media.
