25 Star Wars TV shows we really want to see

8. Live-action Clone Wars

I would be lying if I said that this wasn’t something I wanted to see just because I would love to have Ashley Eckstein play Ahsoka in a live action series. Have you seen her Ahsoka cosplay? It’s amazing and someday I aspire to own an equally high-quality Ahsoka cosplay. Ashley did such an incredible job voicing Ahsoka and it would be so awesome to see her get to suit up as the beloved character in real life.

Also, who could complain about getting to see more Ewan McGregor (who doesn’t look like he’s aged a day since the Revenge of the Sith)?! Clone Wars is by far my favorite series (I think everything I’ve written has made that fairly obvious) and I think it would be exciting in live action form. Ideally, they would round up the original cast for the prequels. Of course, there would be some new additions like Ashley and I think Cate Blanchet would make a wonderful Satine Kryze.

Also, it would be an absolute necessity that Dave Filoni and Pablo Hidalgo get to finish the story arc. The series was supposed to end right before the beginning of Revenge of the Sith and when Disney took over the show was discontinued. It might seem extraneous to do another Clone Wars series, but I think it’d be exciting to see all of those events in live action, letting Filoni finish what he started.
