3. Yoda/Dooku

It feels like so little is known about Count Dooku (aka Lord Tyranus). We know that he is the apprentice to Darth Sidious, we know he is the face of the Separatists, we know that he was once a member of the Jedi order and trained under Master Yoda himself. We aren’t exactly sure how to break occurs, but we know it is something painful to master Yoda (understandably so because the connection between master and Padawan is strong).

This is the period I would love to see explored. I’d love to see like a Gotham type backstory series on the mysterious Lord Tyranus. We could learn about his beginnings as a Padawan and eventually learn about his ascension to an apprentice of Darth Sidious.

I think this would make a great live action series. I envision it with sort of a dark overtone given what we know about the eventual turn to the Dark Side that Dooku experiences. It would be fascinating to watch his relationship with Master Yoda develop and eventually fall apart.

Dooku is obviously a man fueled by passion, ambition, and anger. Knowing about Dooku’s past would give us some insight into Yoda’s preoccupation with Anakin’s volatile emotions. It would be hard to find anyone as talented as the late Christopher Lee to portray a younger Dooku, but I think that it would be possible to find a suitable individual to do the character justice.
