18. Poe Dameron – Wonder Years-style

Though he may not have been intended to be a significant character in the Star Wars saga, Poe Dameron has found his way into our hearts. That may, of course, have something to do with the fact that Oscar Isaac’s jaw is so sharp that it could slice butter. It looks like he’s going to have a much bigger role in the upcoming film:

The Last Jedi. So, if we’re going to be seeing more of Poe Dameron, it’d be nice to get more of a background on him. There is one comic but it does not cover much of his upbringing. With his interesting parentage, it’d be cool to see a Wonder Years-style show exploring his teenage years. That way we’d get to learn more about him and his impressive parents.

Poe’s relationship with Finn was an awesome addition to the new trilogy. It reminded me a little bit of the relationship between Luka and Han in the originals. So, now that we’re getting a Han Solo backstory it’d be cool to get a Poe Dameron backstory too.
