The Last Jedi roundup: Laura Dern loves BB-8, an all-new TV spot and more
11 days until the worldwide premiere of Star Wars: The Jedi, and we’ve got a great roundup of the best news and TV spots surrounding the film…
We’re rapidly approaching the worldwide premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on December 15, and as one might expect, the news, interviews, and television spots surrounding the film are beginning to come out of the woodwork.
Case in point, an all-new TV spot for the film was released yesterday, showing off Luke Skywalker’s magnificent hair. Check it out:
Nothing really new here, unless you count the fact that Luke’s hair is on point. Like, freshly blown-out salon hair on point. Moving on, Actress Laura Dern — who will portray Admiral Holdo in The Last Jedi — had a cute moment with BB-8 during the press conference for the film, hosted by Entertainment Weekly’s Anthony Breznican.
I’m so sorry BB-8, as much as I love you, you’re going to probably take a back seat to those adorable Porgs. You can read the entire transcript of that EW The Last Jedi press conference here, and I suggest that you do because it’s a fun and fantastic read.
Finally, a link was posted to Imgur today, containing a photo album of the costumes from The Last Jedi. Here’s that:

Here, we have a great look at Kylo Ren’s costume for the film. There are several new components to his outfit, but what stands out his Darth Vader-like cape. Luke’s costume is also something new for The Last Jedi, as it’s not the same brown/beige robes he wore at the end of The Force Awakens.

We also get a good luck at Leia’s costume, which we’ve seen her wearing as she stands in the Rebel base on Crait. Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters very soon, on December 15.
