What exactly is a Star Wars Visual Guide and how does it connect to the films? The information inside of these “Holocrons” contains significant plot points and Easter Eggs. However, the ending of the film and climaxes from the actual story are not within these pages.

But, you will learn much of what Luke was up to before The Last Jedi, the motivations behind Snoke, descriptions of planets, and Rey’s connection with Kylo Ren, for example.

Brace yourself and let’s go full throttle. Once again SPOILERS from The Last Jedi ahead.

The updated Galactic Map

The guide starts off with a bang, revealing much within its new map of a galaxy far, far away. Included are all of the planets from previous films, even Rogue One, which was a nice touch.

More importantly, the actual location of Ahch-To is on the map, with Luke Skywalker’s journey and path on getting to the ocean planet documented.

Starting from near Endor, Luke ventures west, deep into the Unknown Regions.

Also, there’s confirmation that the Resistance evacuates their base on D’Qar, relocating to Crait. An old secret Rebel outpost used by Bail Organa during their struggle with the Empire, it’s pinpointed on the map near both Dagobah and Sullust.

Canto Bight — is located in the Northwest portion of the galaxy, near Moraband and Yavin. The name of the actual world is Cantonica.
