Snoke
Snoke is a master of the Dark Side of the Force, but, he is no Sith. He also loves living it up like Hugh Hefner, having gold slippers, a fancy ring, and an MTV-crib-worthy throne room aboard the Mega Star Destroyer the Supremacy — the only one of its kind.
- The ring Snoke wears is gold with an obsidian formerly from Darth Vader’s castle on Mustafar attached to it.
- That same ring has a connection to Dwartii, ancient lawgivers from the Ancient Republic — Palpatine had each of the four statues in his personal quarters.
- The guide hints that Kylo Ren’s obsession with Vader comes from Snoke.
- Snoke has precisely eight Praetorian Guards
- Dark Side alien servants do his bidding, ones that are responsible for charting the way to the Unknown Regions.
- Snoke believes that only one from the Skywalker line could destroy the last Jedi, hence, seducing Ben Solo to the Dark Side to accomplish that goal.
- His injuries apparently have hindered him physically, but the Dark Side has given him other abilities some consider to be unnatural.
- Snoke’s General, Hux, is not mentioned, hinting that he perishes early on during the film.

Kylo Ren
After his embarrassing defeat at the hands of Rey, Kylo Ren must answer to his “unforgiving” and “cruel” Master for his failure, where he is severely punished by the Supreme Leader.
- Kylo Ren remembers his father’s words of warning that the Supreme Leader is “using him for his powers.”
- His lightsaber was not destroyed in his duel with Rey
- Kylo Ren feels he failed his grandfather, Darth Vader, leaving the charred helmet of the Sith Lord behind (for now) until he is worthy of possessing it once again
- In a fit of rage, Kylo destroys his own helmet, after Snoke disciplines him
- His anger and power in the Dark Side have drastically increased since The Force Awakens
- Kylo Ren leads the attack of Crait, but his judgment is clouded, hindering his “tactical” expertise
- Rey and Kylo Ren share a bond in the Force, a connection they are both aware of
- Kylo Ren appears to be loyal to Snoke but has secret plans of conquest and power of his own
- His piloting skills rival that of his father and grandfather
- The Knights of Ren are not in the guide, without even a mention
