Let us introduce you to five badass Marvel Star Wars ladies who deserve their own live-action television series.
Over the years, Star Wars has introduced a lot of girl power through characters like Leia Organa, Jyn Erso, and Rey. But there’s always room for more.
Lucasfilm has announced that Jon Favreau will be producing his own live-action TV series, which of course, has many fans like me totally stoked! It also opens up opportunities for more diverse ethnic and gender representation in the Star-Wars universe – something which they could definitely use more of.
This new TV series is the perfect opportunity to expand the universe and to allow fans to see POC and women represented in large franchises like Star Wars. So, to answer social media’s queries, here are 5 totally bad-ass women from Marvel Star Wars comics that could totally change Star Wars’ game!

Satele is a human Jedi-Master. She was active during The Great Galactic War and is supposedly of East-Asian descent. She possesses powers like foresight, and was even considered a telepath!
I don’t think anybody has ever seen a POC intergalactic space warrior who is a master of both single and double-bladed lightsabers. Satele could provide the kind of minority representation that people want to see on-screen.
Satele appeared in one of the older Star Wars video games, but that’s about it. Satele embodies the type of girl power that I think the Star Wars universe needs. Plus, have I mentioned her connection with the Force is so strong she has the power of telekinesis??
