What fuels a young Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story?

“Money”?

“Or is it something else”?

Could that “something else” be piloting a sweet ride, “Riding Solo” in the process?

The narration then transitions to Beckett, who seems to be a mentor to Han Solo. What this new footage reveals is that Beckett works for Paul Bettany’s character, Dryden Vos — no relation to the Jedi Master Quinlan Vos, that we know of.

“Heard about a job. Big shot gangster, putting together a crew.”

Vos is a collector, and it appears that there’s a large Sith Holocron within his collection, so you never know!

We then switch gears to the voice of Han Solo himself.

“I’m a driver. And, I’m a flyer.”

“I’ve waited a long time for a shot like this.”

Could that statement be a double meaning, with Han Solo getting his shot to make it big time, and receiving the iconic DL 44 blaster that he shot (first)with A New Hope? To clarify, Han did not shot first, but he is the only one who shot. Poor Greedo did not have time even to get a blaster-shot off.

“What do you think?”

Chewie’s standard Wookie roar.

“What do you know?”

The banter between Han and Chewie reminds me of the original trilogy and The Force Awakens — with Ehrenreich and Suotamo picking up where Ford and Mayhew left off.
