Val

Thandie Newton plays the role of Val, a member of Beckett’s crew, and his right hand. She has a more interesting relationship with Han Solo. Beginning as icy as Hoth, Val warms up to Han as she realizes his worth to the crew. Chances are she makes it out of the film alive. If Solo: A Star Wars Story is primed for a sequel, Val will most likely play a role.

Qi’Ra

Our best guess is that she makes it out of movie unscathed, but not before betraying Han, most likely hardening everyone’s favorite scoundrel, setting him on the path to becoming the Han we meet in A new hope.

L3-37

Described as a self-modifying droid who’s subservient to no one, L3-37 will provide the film with the sass and comic relief typical of these characters in the series.

Chances are, however, that she doesn’t make it out of the film, with Lobot taking her place by Lando’s side. Our best guess is that she’ll perish, but perhaps not before being converted into the Falcon’s central computer.
