Star Wars fans can enjoy the Millennium Falcon Experience at SDCC
Star Wars Fans get to sit in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon at San Diego Comic-Con.
Have you ever wanted to be on the Millennium Falcon?
Of course, you have. What fan hasn’t daydreamed about sitting in the cockpit while maneuvering death-defying stunts. Lucasfilm is giving fans an up close and personal view of the Millennium Falcon at San Diego Comic-Con, according to StarWars.com.
Call it the Millennium Falcon Experience. Fans attending SDCC will get a chance to enter the magnificently detailed cockpit and take pictures to share on their social media channels.

While it’s certainly a marketing plot, it’s also a cool photo op for fans. The cockpit is not just a close representation of the beautiful space junk, but this replica was cast from the set used in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
If you’re headed to San Diego Comic-Con don’t miss out on this experience, which can be found at the Lucasfilm Pavilion. Tickets are free, but they are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
While Solo: A Star Wars Story may not have done as well as Disney hoped in the box office, Lucasfilm will continue to push its latest movie. Along with the Millennium Falcon experience, six screen-used costumes from the movie will be on hand at SDCC, according to Star Wars.com.

The costumes being brought to the show feature all the key characters, including Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, Dryden Vos, and Enfys Nest.
San Diego Comic-Con is also home to a number of licensees giving out show exclusives and previewing products coming down the pipe. While Star Wars may not have a huge – relatively speaking – at this year’s convention, it is certainly going to make some noise.
