Ben Solo

Episode IX will probably answer a lot of our standing questions about Kylo Ren. But as the sequel trilogy has shown us so far, only so much can fit into less than three hours of screen time. We’re probably going to need more than what JJ Abrams can give us.

Until now, the books have shown us Ben Solo as a baby and toddler (and Kylo as a grown man who still acts like one). And we’ve seen a younger version of him in flashbacks.

But what’s his relationship with Snoke before he takes him on as an apprentice? Did he have a traumatic childhood we don’t know about – or was he doomed to turn to the dark side from the very beginning?

And WHO ARE THE OTHER KNIGHTS OF REN?
