Star Wars: Give us a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano is a Star Wars fan-favorite character and it is time we get to see her come to life in live-action form.

Ahsoka Tano is a character who took a little while to warm up to in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. However, as she grew with the show, she became an extremely likable character. Her persistence kept the character interesting and she challenged Anakin in a way that others never seemed to. She was even bold enough to leave the Jedi Order and go out on her own without him.

Ahsoka later appeared in Star Wars Rebels as an older and wiser character. However, her persistence was still there and she wanted to do what was best for the galaxy whether or not she was part of the Jedi Order. She went around as Fulcrum for a while before revealing herself to the rebels. She then was reunited with Anakin as she faced off against him as Darth Vader. Even after everything he had done, she didn’t want to leave him again.

Ahsoka has proven that she’s a character with a deep and interesting story within Star Wars and we should get to see her in live-action form. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching the animated shows, but sometimes it feels like characters aren’t taken quite as seriously without appearing in the live-action movies. Although, I’d take a live-action show on Disney’s upcoming streaming service with her in it, too.

We haven’t had the chance to see a character like Ahsoka on the big screen really. If she knows Anakin better than so many others, shouldn’t she factor into the live-action movies at some point? She doesn’t need to have a solo movie right off the bat (I wouldn’t complain if she did, though), but even just seeing her in a movie with Anakin would be great. There are so many stories with those two that we probably didn’t get to see with Clone Wars that could make for a good standalone movie.

We will see Ahsoka again in the new Clone Wars episodes, but it just isn’t the same as seeing the characters on the big screen. Fans love the character and while Star Wars doesn’t always do things that fans like, a live-action version of Ahsoka would be a wonderful thing to see. She’s an important character not only in Anakin’s life, but in Star Wars in general. It’s about time she gets the movie treatment.
