Han Solo Fun Fact Number 1
Han and the Millennium Falcon were destined to be together. Although it’s wildly known that Han was not the original owner of the Falcon, he was clearly destined to end up with her. Why is that? Well because both Han and the Falcon come from the same planet.
This doesn’t sound like much, but considering how massive the galaxy is, it can’t be a coincidence that they are both from the same world. It can only be destiny.
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 2
Star-Lord wouldn’t be Star-Lord if it wasn’t for Han. The Guardians of the Galaxy leader would be a much different person if it wasn’t for out Nerf Herder as Chris Pratt has openly confessed that he drew inspiration from the Star Wars legend.
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 3
Han is not Han in France. He is Yan. Now almost every Star Wars character went through a name change when making it overseas; C-3P0 was renamed Z6P0, for example. However, changing Han to Yan is not only mildly amusing to think about; Yan the Scruffy Nerf Herder just makes you giggle for some reason; but it is also hilarious because you can’t help but wonder what was the point? Han to Yan, seems a bit lazy really. Do the French struggle to say Han or something?
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 4
Han almost didn’t feature in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Why? Well, it wasn’t because Harrison Ford was unsure about coming back to the franchise, but because Han was almost killed off in Return of the Jedi; and by Ewoks of all things?!?!?

Han Solo Fun Fact Number 5
Luke wasn’t the only one destined to have a family reunion in Empire Strikes Back. Han was also set to have one as well. His Stepfather was supposedly going to make a surprise appearance with information for the rebellion right at the end of the movie.
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 6
Han had a recurring role on the hit cult TV series Firelfly. Eagle-eyed fans of the sci-fi series will already know this, but if you missed it go back and look really carefully, because in several scenes there is Han, frozen in Carbonite, on the set.
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 7
During The Last Jedi Han decided to say hi before bombing the First Order. Right at the beginning of the movie, when the Resistance were attempting to bomb the Dreadnaught. One of the bombs can be spotted with the statement; ‘Han says hi.’
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 8
George Lucas originally had a vision that Han would resemble something from The Creature from the Black Lagoon. He had a vision of Han being green, gilled and fish like. Thankfully that never transpired into anything.
Han Solo Fun Fact Number 9
Alden Ehrenreich, a.k.a. the guy who plays Young Han Solo, got his acting debut in the TV series, Supernatural. Once again proving that Supernatural is everywhere. Seriously, go check it out, you can link pretty much everything to that TV series.
