A deleted scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story has been released ahead of the Blu-Ray / DVD.

Due to all issues that went on behind the scenes with Solo: A Star Wars Story, it’s not surprising some extra footage that didn’t make it onto the big screen is kicking about. Probably in some vacant warehouse somewhere.

With the Blu-Ray / DVD of Solo: A Star Wars Story coming out soon, many fans are hoping that all, or at least most, of this extra footage has been included.

However, a deleted scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story has already been released, ahead of the Blu-Ray / DVD. A sequence from the very beginning of the movie which extends the scene between Han and Qi’ra when they are being pursued and are attempting to escape; dubbed the Corellian Foot Chase scene.

This clip was exclusively released to USA Today who then shared it via Twitter.

We can see from the deleted scene that what we saw in the final cut was not as long as what was initially intended. With both Han and Qi’ra jumping into a barrel of something that you wouldn’t wish your enemy to drink, some Corellian hounds, and Han having fun with a very friendly eel all cut from the theatrical release.

So far eight scenes that didn’t make the cut have been confirmed to be included in the Solo: A Star Wars Story Blu-Ray / DVD release. Most likely there is more than that lying around, however with everything that went on whoever made the decisions about what would be included and what would not, probably had to tread lightly when making a decision.
