5. The Arrowverse series

Like I mentioned with Netflix’s original series Marvel’s The Defenders, fans of Star Wars so often also seem to be fans of the growing superhero genre. If you fall into this category of fan, then there’s a decent chance you’ll enjoy the CW’s superhero shows.

Just like there’s a Marvel Cinematic Universe and a DC Extended Universe, there’s an Arrowverse that calls the CW home. Currently, you can catch Arrow (duh), The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl all available to stream on Netflix.

These shows bring that sense of high stakes and adventure that Star Wars fans seem to universally crave. Sure, these series might not be taking you into space with every episode, but they manage to accomplish a lot of action down here on Earth. I also love how the shows in the Arrowverse are set in a modern world, which can be a nice break after spending so much time getting invested in a galaxy from “a long time ago.”

With so many great shows to stream, you can start in on one series and really be able to get lost in something new until the premiere of the next Star Wars movie. As it can be hard to know where to start in the Arrowverse, let me recommend beginning simply with Arrow. It was the first installment in this particular multiverse and generally one of the better series overall. Honestly, though, you can’t go too wrong. Pick a show and get your binge on!
