Obi-Wan Kenobi will make an appearance

We have already heard the wise Obi-Wan speak in the latest Star Wars trilogy, so are we ever going to see him appear?

He is, after all, perfectly capable of doing so being a Force Ghost and all. I can’t imagine he is up to much else these days.

Whether Obi-Wan Kenobi will make an appearance in Star Wars: Episode IX is actually a question that has been going around since before Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released in theaters. As soon as fans heard him speak in Star Wars: The Force Awakens everybody wondered if he would make an appearance.

And when Yoda showed up next to Luke in The Last Jedi, that pretty much sold it to fans that the Jedi Master must make an appearance in the next installment.

Of course, this isn’t being confirmed, and like all the other rumors in this post, it has not been denied either. However, if we just twist the question for a moment, if it was decided that Obi-Wan should make an appearance, which Obi-Wan?

Do they get Ewan McGregor back, or do they go for a gambit and try and produce a CGI version of Alec Guinness? I’m really hoping they don’t do the latter.
