Star Wars: Episode IX rumors still to be addressed

Yoda and Rey will meet

Rey has already met Luke Skywalker to learn the ways of the Force, will she ever meet the one who trained him though? Will Yoda and Rey meet in Star Wars: Episode IX?

Well, a lot of fans certainly think they will in Star Wars: Episode IX. When Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out and we all learned that Luke had moved on, everyone started theorizing that Yoda would be the one to step in and complete her training.

After all, he returned plenty of times before after his death in the original trilogy, and his surprise appearance in The Last Jedi pretty much cemented the theory in everybody’s mind.

However, there is an argument to say that this theory has been debunked because it has been confirmed that Mark Hamill will appear in Episode IX. With many believing his return will be as a Force Ghost to finish Rey’s training.

But, that theory about Luke coming back as a Force Ghost is also one that stills needs to be addressed. So, it could equally turn out to be that Luke is back for another reason and Yoda and Rey do meet and Yoda takes over Rey’s training.
