What Star Wars panels will be at New York Comic-Con?

Are you headed to New York Comic-Con this year? Check out the panels featuring Star Wars at this year’s show.

It’s almost time for New York Comic-Con, one of the largest entertainment conventions in the country. The show will feature hundreds of booths, dozens of panels and thousands of fans from around the world.

This year’s New York Comic-Con will feature a number of panels dedicated to Star Wars, showcasing upcoming merchandise such as books and figurines. But there are also panels dedicated to the women of the Star Wars realm.

Here’s the breakdown of the Star Wars panels at New York Comic-Con that will take place from October 4-7 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

October 4

3:30-4:15 p.m. ET What’s new and upcoming from Disney Publishing, NYPL 5th Ave – Celeste Auditorium

Get details on books, comics and more from this panel featuring representatives from Marvel, Disney Press and more.

5:30-6:30 p.m. ET Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy, Discussion Room 1A21

The Women of Galaxy will feature several speakers including Amy Ratcliffe, Managing Editor at Nerdist and author of Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy, as well as Ashley Eckstein, the geek goddess who runs Her Universe, and the voice of Ahsoka Tano.

In addition, Sara Alfageeh, Cryssy Cheung, Karen Hallion, Annie Stoll, Sarah Wilkinson and Jen Bartel.

October 5

3-4 p.m. ET Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away – Room 1A10, Javits Center

Disney-Lucasfilm Press’ Michael Siglain reveals upcoming books taking place in the Star Wars universe. We got a huge offering on the docket from San Diego Comic-Con, hopefully this one will offer plenty more.

October 6

5-6 p.m. ET A celebration of Female Writers in a Galaxy Far, Far Away – Ship Studios

This even takes place out of the Javits Center, but should be an interesting panel featuring female Star Wars authors, including Mur Laffery, who wrote the novel adaptation of Solo: A Star Wars Story. The other authors also include Katie Cook, Justina Ireland (Lando’s Luck), Amy Ratcliffe (Women of the Galaxy), Delilah Dawson (Phasma).

October 7

1:15-2:15 p.m. ET Hasbro Star Wars – Room 1A02, Javits Center

Hasbro is always good for a few surprises, and New York Comic-Con should be no different. We haven’t received any early details, but we’ll he sure to post any updates on what Hasbro has in store for Star Wars fans when it’s ready.
