Star Wars Resistance: Synopsis revealed for the first five episodes of new series
Want to know more about Star Wars Resistance? Disney has released the synopsis for the first five episodes, and has announced a few special guest stars.
The animated series Star Wars Resistance is coming soon. The show premieres Sunday, October 7, following the adventures of pilots as they try to spy on the First Order.
The show centers on X-wing pilot Kazuda Xiono who is recruited by Poe Dameron to spy on the First Order. Kaz isn’t exactly a spy, which probably makes him a good one and a bad one all at the same time. As we get closer to the Disney XD show, Disney has released the synopsis for the first five episodes of the new show.

Here’s a look at what we can expect from Star Wars Resistance.
Episode 1:01 and 1:02 The Recruit: Part 1 and Part 2
"X-wing pilot Kazuda Xiono is recruited for the Resistance, but finds himself in over his head when Poe Dameron assigns him to a remote fueling station to spy on the First Order. Then, after Kaz boasts about being the best pilot around, he is forced to compete in a dangerous sky race."
Episode 1:03 The Triple Dark
"Kaz and BB-8 uncover information on an imminent pirate attack and must find a way to stop it."
This episode will also feature the voice of Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma. Star Wars Resistance is wasting no time in bringing in familiar faces to get the show rolling.
Episode 1:04 Fuel for the Fire
STAR WARS RESISTANCE – (Lucasfilm)
"Kaz befriends a sky racer named Rucklin who pressures him to take some rare and dangerous hyperfuel hidden in Yeager’s office."
Elijah Wood, of Lord of the Rings fame, will guest star in the fourth episode of Star Wars Resistance.
Episode 1:05 The High Tower
"The First Order arrives at the platform for mysterious reasons and Kaz and BB-8 are determined to sneak into the tower to find out what they want."
Donald Faison guests stars in Star Wars Resistance Episode 5.
While we have gained a little bit more information on Star Wars Resistance, we certainly still have a lot more to learn about the upcoming animated series. The good news is that the first two episodes will both air on October 7 on Disney XD with each new episode coming out every Sunday thereafter.

The show has also managed to get some pretty well known guest stars in each of the first five episodes with Oscar Isaac, Christie, Wood, Faison and Bobby Moynihan.
