Star Wars: Resistance premieres tonight on Disney Channel, launching with two new episodes to kick off the new animated series starting at 10 p.m. ET.
The show follows a group of race pilots where one has been recruited to spy for the Resistance. Tonight, we’ll get to meet Kaz, his crew and the other pilots as they try to navigate world with the First Order breathing down their necks.

Star Wars: Resistance takes place about six months before The Force Awakens. We’ll get to see Poe Dameron, voiced by Oscar Isaac, in the early episodes as he is the one who gets the pilot Kaz on board with the Resistance.
Early reviews have given Star Wars: Resistance a thumbs up, but we’re excited to tune into tonight’s first two episodes of the first season of the new animated series.

"X-wing pilot Kazuda Xiono is recruited for the Resistance, but finds himself in over his head when Poe Dameron assigns him to a remote fueling station to spy on the First Order. Then, after Kaz boasts about being the best pilot around, he is forced to compete in a dangerous sky race."
