Star Wars: Episode IX leak involving Kylo Ren and Darth Vader should be made

Another day, another Star Wars: Episode IX leak. But this one involving both Darth Vader and Kylo Ren needs to be made.

I think we can all agree that not every Star Wars: Episode IX leak is going to end up playing out in the movie. And it’s probably just as well, otherwise, there wouldn’t be much of a movie left to go and see. However, this latest leak involves a scene with both Darth Vader and Kylo Ren and it really does need to happen.

First reported by The Express, and later reported by other publications, the leak describes Kylo having a vision of Vader in one his most vulnerable, intriguing, and lesser known moments. Being transformed into Vader.

Kylo is described to be walking down a hall, into a medical bay. There he sees Vader, mask off, about to have new mechanical arms and legs attached.

Kylo then moves closer to Vader, where he can see all of his scars from his burns and he can see the pain that he is in; right before an arm swings in from behind and puts on the mask of Vader. Kylo then leaves the room before waking from his nightmare in his room.

It’s a very chilling and horrifying moment that contains throwbacks to the past movies. And it is for all of those reasons why we need it to happen.

With echoes to the original trilogy (Vader unmasked in ROTJ and having his helmet being put on while in the meditation room in ESB), the prequel trilogy (Anakin waking from his nightmares in ROTS), and spin-off stories (Vader in the Bacta Tank), having the final movie in the Skywalker saga connect, by using the original Skywalker, would be a really nice touch for fans.

Also, there is this undeniable fascination with what lies under Vader’s suit. Ever since we were first introduced to the legendary character we have wanted to know more about him. Especially when we got hints of what lay under the mask, that made our need to know more so much greater. It’s just one of those weird things all of Star Wars fans have.

So to get all of those connections to the previous movies, from the very person who essentially started it all, is great; but to also have some of our curiosity and fascination satisfied is even better. This is why this scene needs to happen.
