Gina Carano has been cast in The Mandalorian, the live-action TV series set to stream on Disney+ next year.
A new actor has been cast in the upcoming Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian.

This is the second bit of casting news for The Mandalorian in as many days. There’s not much known about the show, but it seems the details are coming out more quickly now.
It’s not known what role she will play just yet, but given her previous roles, it makes us wonder if she could play a bounty hunter as well, perhaps someone running in the same circles as the titular character.
While Carano has played a number of similar characters over the year – the badass type that knows how to fight and fight back, perhaps she will be able to break out a little bit in her new role to be more than just a chick who can throw a punch.
The Mandalorian is expected to premiere on Disney’s streaming service Disney+ next year. Other than Favreau’s lone Instagram post on the synopsis for the show, we haven’t received too many other details.
It will take place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens – which is a very long time period. It will follow a lone Mandalorian gunfighter during his adventures in the outer rim of the galaxy.
Anything is possible, and it’s likely we will get to see plenty in Favreau’s take on Star Wars.
The Mandalorian is expected to be on Disney+ starting in late 2019.
