8. Vader
It’s hard to imagine any list related to Star Wars not including Vader on it somewhere. Darth Vader is one of the most famous characters in all of film history, so his name without a doubt could make a great pet name.
The reason he is so far down on this list though is due to two things. First, this is somewhat of a popular name, and this list gives preference to the more uncommon names. But the larger reason this name is lower on the list is that only certain pets can pull off this name.
In order for your pet to live up to the Vader name, they must have black fur, they have to be tough, and the larger and more powerful your pet the better. Vader is the name of dogs like a Rottweiler or German Shepherd. Chihuahuas and little white cats need not apply.
