Lando Calrissian

Cloud City was a fan favorite location from the original trilogy of Star Wars films, and if it were to be revisited, it would only be fitting that Lando Calrissian make and cameo on it as well.

When he first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, Lando was introduced as an administrator for the Cloud City of Bespin, and fled the city after the Empire’s occupation there. After the fall of the Empire, Lando took control of Bespin as shown in the Aftermath series.

Despite the fact that Billy Dee Williams is in his early 80s, the digital technology Disney has at its disposal makes it possible to make him realistically appear more like his younger self. Or perhaps Donald Glover could reprise the role.

As they have already proved in Rogue One with the inclusion of a digitally produced Grand Moff Tarkin, it is still possible to include older characters from previous films in the new entries even if the actors who portrayed them are older or unavailable.

While this technology is available, I don’t recommend using it for an extended period of time as the results can sometime’s be noticeably flawed and jarring, but in small doses, such as a cameo role, it would be a welcome addition to the TV Series.
